The Allyn Cox Reservation

The Allyn Cox Reservation, one of several preservations maintained by the Essex County Greenbelt, is a veritable natural playground.  It is also located directly across the street from the proposed cell tower and storage unit on Eastern Avenue.

This reservation is home to the Greenbelt's main offices.  Many events take place here throughout the year for nature lovers, artists, and families of all ages. It is open to the public year round and has walking trails and river access for expanded access to the Great Marsh.

This property (donated to the Greenbelt by the noted muralist Allyn Cox in 1974) is a true gift for all who visit.  Please help us in preserving the unparalleled views of this property.
